Again, a great question for your doctor!! Discuss this with them. One very good option is always simply not to do it. You are the best one to weigh the pros and cons that your doctor lays out for you and decide what is the right decision for you. One thing that people often fail to realize is that the normal range for testosterone is that – a NORMAL RANGE. That means that readings anywhere in that range are NORMAL. If you are on the “low side of normal” – that is NORMAL. Another thing to realize is that doctors to not treat test results, they treat symptoms. Just because your testosterone comes in at 200 does not necessarily mean you need TRT! See also the below question.
Had my appearance on probodybuildingweekly this past Monday night with Dan, Bob and Larry Pepe and I had a blast answering their questions. I really enjoy being able to participate in such discussions as it allows me to remember my purpose in my preparations for the Olympia, but also life. I try and enjoy every moment of this as it has gone by so fast that one day I’ll blink and it will be all over. Hopefully, I will have left a good mark on this great sport and with its fans, so I thank my sponsors along with PBW for giving me a voice, even for talking a lil’ trash lol!
The thing is, Bostin wasn't dyel in his before picture. When that first came out people were like OMG SUCH A BIG DIFFERENCE. Well.. no shit, running peptides, permablasting, almost a year of training with coaching, and contest prep will make that kind of difference. I don't think people understand what kind of difference going from 18%-7% BF makes, even with the same LBM. Add on top your conditioning drugs, dropping water, etc. Not trying to downplay his progress for that competition, but the fake nattys on youtube were plastering this shit all over their channels for views and misdirections (yeah I'm big and lean, but it took me time! that means I'm natty!)
